Shenzhen
possesses three bonded zones and one bonded
logistics park. The three bonded zones are
Futian Bonded Zone, Shatoujiao Bonded Zone,
and Yantian Port Bonded Zone, where the
protective tariff system is implemented,
including various preferential policies
and operation convenience in respect of
customs administration, foreign exchange
management and taxation. They are multi-functional
special economic regions integrating production
& processing, logistics & warehousing,
trade, R&D, and exhibition. The only
bonded logistics park is Yantian Port Bonded
Logistics Park, where the "park-port associated
action" policy is implemented, and in addition
to various preferential policies for bonded
zones, it also enjoys the favorable "drawback
of export duties" policy.
Situated at the south of the central area
of Shenzhen, Futian Bonded Zone was established
on May 28, 1991, with the approval of the
State Council, covering an enclosed area
of 1.35km2. Featuring complete functions,
it is dedicated to the development of hi-tech
industries, modern logistics and international
trade services. Futian Bonded Zone has the
number one designated channel directly connected
to Hong Kong through Lok Ma Chau Bridge.
Situated at Yantian District in the east
of Shenzhen, Shatoujiao Bonded Zone is the
earliest-established bonded zone in China,
with an enclosed area of 0.27km2. It focuses
on the development of advanced export-oriented
industries, main products including computer
motherboards, displays, smart toys, gold
and jewelry, textiles & garments, and
plastic products.
Within Yantian Port, one of the four largest
deep-water ports for international transit
in China, Yantian Port Bonded Logistics
Park was established on August 16, 2004
with the approval of the State Council,
and was launched on March 31, 2006. It is
directly connected to the port operation
zone of Yantian Port, featuring "park-port
associated action" and focusing on the development
of international logistics, purchase, transit
and carrying trade.
